Miss Teresa Fernandez is an outstanding teacher and I highly recommend Sit n’ Play Family Daycare.  My husband and I feel incredibly blessed that our daughter had Miss Teresa as her preschool teacher and daycare provider for two years. The relationship she fosters with the children, along with her focus on preparing kids for kindergarten academically and socially, provided my daughter with an amazing first experience with school in a safe, engaging environment. 

At the time we met Miss Teresa our daughter was at another school that we weren't happy with. We walked into Miss Teresa's class and instantly felt comfortable.  The environment was child-centered, and the children were engaged and having fun.  That day we were just visitors, but Miss Teresa took the time to get down on my daughter’s level and make her feel comfortable.  I was going back to work and nervous about finding good care for my daughter.  My worries were put to rest the day I met Miss Teresa. 

Miss Teresa takes pride in planning a great day full of learning opportunities for her students.  She provides hands on engaging activities with developmentally appropriate paper and pencil work.  As an elementary school teacher myself, I have high expectations for the daily activities a teacher does with her students. In the two years we were with Miss Teresa, she always exceeded my expectations in planning a well rounded curriculum. My daughter is more than prepared for kindergarten thanks to Miss Teresa.

Miss Teresa is an awesome teacher.  My daughter has confidence, loves school, loves and respects her classmates, and feels successful.  She is even beginning to read and write and understand beginning math concepts.

Every day that I picked up my daughter Miss Teresa took the time to talk to me about my child’s day, which I really appreciated.  My daughter was always happy and excited to go back to school the next day, which says it all.  Thank you Miss Teresa for teaching my daughter and providing her with the highest quality of care.  I highly recommend Sit n’ Play Family Daycare to anyone wanting the best care and learning environment for their child.

Miss Teresa was a fabulous preschool teacher for our son.  She was really able to get through to all her kids and we liked how she was consistent with her discipline.  Her patience, soft and caring nature really helped them to thrive and be happy.  She created a wonderful learning environment in which our son was able to have fun and learn at the same time.

Ronald started just shy of 1 year with Ms. Teresa and he has blossome tremendously both academically and emotionally. He has grown to a little "big boy". We love the attention that Ms. Teresa gives to each child and her love of teaching. Grace has just started with Ms. Tasha and she is so much better behaved at home because of the attention she gets at school.

We love Ms Teresa. She is no ordinary pre-school teacher who just teaches ABCs rather she teaches my child manners and responsibilities. It's so rare these days to see a loving teacher willing to go the extra mile. My child loves her creative activities and always brags about his cute artwork and writing. He is gaining confidence as a young boy while having fun learning. Being a working mom, I really appreciate the genuine care and love Ms Teresa gives to my child. Dear Prospective Parents,

Our family has had the priviledge of working with both Miss Teresa and Miss Tasha.  It is only due to geographic considerations that we are no longer utilizing their care.   Through their care your child will experience love, caring discipline and a structured learning environment in which to grow.  Both Miss Teresa and Miss Tasha have a wonderful way with children and can work with a range of personalities and capabilities. I can not say enough about the love, care and education that Ms. Teresa provided our daughter in preschool!  She is a wonderful teacher with a beautiful heart.  She was so dedicated to Ella...not just to her education, but to her heart.  She not only helped our Ella with basic education needed to succeed in Kindergarten, but helped develop her heart for God.  She teaches the children independence, kindness, empathy...how to be a good little person.  We love Ms. Teresa!  She is an amazing person, teacher and role model!
